Refund Policy

1. The short version
We offer a 7-day money-back window on your first paid month and on every annual plan. If Kloey isn't working for you, email us within 7 days of the charge and we'll refund the full amount — no questionnaire, no “wait three weeks” script.
2. What's eligible
- Your first paid month on any monthly plan, refundable within 7 days of the initial charge.
- Any annual plan, refundable within 7 days of the renewal charge.
- Duplicate or accidental charges (e.g. you upgraded twice by mistake) — refundable anytime.
3. What isn't eligible
- Monthly renewals after your first month. If you don't want to keep paying, cancel before the next renewal date and you won't be charged again.
- Usage credits already spent on generations. We're paying real LLM and scraping costs the moment you hit generate, so consumed credits can't be refunded.
- Accounts terminated for breaking the Terms of Service.
4. How to request a refund
Email billing@kloey.ai from the address on your account with:
- The date of the charge.
- The last four digits of the card (helps us match it fast).
- One line about why — we read every reply, it makes the product better.
You'll get a response within 1 business day. Refunds hit your card within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
5. Downgrades
Switching tiers mid-cycle? You'll keep access to the higher tier until the end of the current period, then the new plan kicks in. We don't pro-rate refunds for downgrades but you keep what you paid for.
6. Cancellations
You can cancel anytime from Settings → Billing. Cancellation stops the next renewal — your account stays active until the end of the period you already paid for.
7. Disputes
If you ever feel stuck on a refund, please email us before filing a chargeback — we'd rather fix the issue with you directly. Chargebacks lock the account while the bank investigates and that's no fun for either of us.
